Whois the sender, who is the intended audience of the illustrated message?
Thesender would be Global Knowledge. The intended audience would be corporations,
government jobs and individuals.

What is the message of the illustration? What is the purpose of the illustration?
The message is to inform companies and individuals of the services that Global
Knowledge provides.

“Global Knowledge is the worldwide leader in IT
and business skills training. We deliver via training centers, private facilities,
and the Internet, enabling our customers to choose when, where, and how they

What medium was the illustration created in?
This poster was created in Adobe Illustrator

Does the technique of the illustrator influence the message? If so, how? If not
justify your reasoning.
Whalen’s technique influences the message by
creating interest through a movie poster with a retro style. The hierarchical
scale of the poster provides a summary of information of the services provided
by Global Knowledge. The audience can easily move through the poster from left
to right /top to bottom. The actual retro style gives a new look to IT and
business skills training as oppose to a standard corporation poster which can
be sometimes boring and bland.

How does the style meet the sender’s needs? Audience needs? Illustrator needs?
The actual retro style of the poster gives a
new look to IT and business skills training as oppose to a standard corporation
poster which can be sometimes boring and bland. This poster is eye catching and
has appeal towards the audience in a way that is memorable.
